your sorrow
in my ear

Interdisciplinary performance installation and drawing in the form of a ritual.

Investigating in the reciprocal connection between matter and movement, this time through ashes, coal and butoh dance. The performance is inspired by the artists visions from ritualistic plant journeys and meditations in silence, contemplating human pain caused by loss in a requiem dance. She uses the leftovers from burned papers where she wrote down her sorrows as drawing material. During the performance the audience is invited to participate whispering their sorrows in her ear, the sorrows are transformed into movement and drawings.
