Both Jens Bjørneboe’s literary works and Tatsumi Hijikata’s choreographic language have rebellious forms of expression. They were the poets of darkness in their own way, and their confrontations with the contemporary and society are clearly evident in their work. They shed light on what is otherwise taboo, and defend the weak and outcast.
This work in progress shows parts of the dramaturgical / choreographic process. With text reading by Endre Ruset and dance by Tove- Elena Nicolaysen.
The work is supported by The norwegian arts council and Scenekunst sør.
